Ice hockey camp in Switzerland
Professional ice hockey training for juniors, combined with the full Swiss summer camp experience
More than a hockey camp
Chantemerle partners with the Doug Boulanger camps to offer a professional ice hockey academy this summer. Develop skating technique, stick handling and shooting under experienced coaches and former professionals, all within the structure and safety of a Swiss private boarding school founded in 1966.
The Chantemerle difference
Hockey training built around personal skills
The Doug Boulanger programme offers players of all levels a focused, immersive environment built around personal skill development — posture, glide and skating power. On-ice sessions cover skating technique, stick handling, shooting and puck control, guided by experienced coaches and former professional players. Doug Boulanger is today one of the most sought-after coaches by elite European and Asian players.
Skating first, always
At the core of the Doug Boulanger method is skating. Every session puts posture, glide and power at the centre — because everything else in hockey builds from there. Participants leave with measurably better skating mechanics and a stronger foundation for their entire game.
All levels, individual focus
The programme is open to players of all levels from age 10, from beginners to competitive juniors. Coaches assess each participant from the start and adapt the sessions accordingly. Small groups ensure every player gets real feedback and progresses at the right pace throughout the week.
Hockey and the full camp experience
Sessions run as full-day immersions throughout July 2026. Outside of the rink, participants join the rest of the camp: activities, excursions, Europa-Park, and evenings with students from over 30 countries. Intensive hockey without missing out on the summer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Chantemerle ice hockey camp
What age groups can join the ice hockey camp?
The programme is open to players from age 10. Groups are structured by level and age so every participant trains alongside peers at a similar stage.
What level is required?
All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to competitive juniors. Coaches assess each participant at the start of the camp and adapt the sessions to individual needs.
How many hours of hockey per day?
The programme runs as full-day sessions, covering on-ice training in the morning and afternoon. Each day includes skating technique, stick handling, shooting and puck control.
Who are the coaches?
The camp is led by Doug Boulanger and his team of experienced coaches and former professional players. Doug is recognised as one of the leading skating development coaches in Europe and Asia.
What makes the Doug Boulanger method different?
The method places skating at the centre of every session. Posture, glide and power are worked on from day one, because those fundamentals underpin every other aspect of the game. Participants see concrete progress in their skating mechanics within the week.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are held at a professional ice rink near Chantemerle. Transport to and from the rink is fully managed by the school — parents do not need to arrange anything.
Can my child do hockey and language classes at the same time?
The hockey camp runs as a full-day programme, so language classes are not scheduled during the same sessions. Participants looking to combine sport and language should look at our half-day sport options.
When does the ice hockey camp run?
The Doug Boulanger camp runs across multiple sessions throughout July 2026. Most participants combine one week of hockey with one or more weeks of the general Chantemerle summer programme.
