Language camp in Switzerland
English and French immersion for juniors, combined with the full Swiss summer camp experience
More than a language course
At Chantemerle, language learning happens inside a real international environment. Small groups, native-level teachers, and a daily life shared with students from over 30 countries. The language becomes a tool, not a subject — from the very first day.
The Chantemerle difference
Language immersion that actually works
Morning classes cover grammar, conversation and real-world communication in small groups of maximum 12 students. Afternoons and evenings extend the learning into daily life — activities, sports, excursions and shared meals with an international peer group. Language progress at Chantemerle is measurable because immersion is constant, not limited to the classroom.
Small groups, real progress
Classes are capped at 12 students, grouped by level. Every participant is assessed at the start of the session and placed in the right group. Teachers adapt to the group and to each individual, with a focus on spoken fluency, comprehension and practical written communication.
Immersion beyond the classroom
Language learning at Chantemerle does not stop when class ends. Every afternoon activity, every meal and every evening event happens in a multilingual environment. Students from over 30 countries share the same space — the language becomes the only common ground, which is the most effective way to learn it.
Language and the full camp experience
Morning classes run five days a week throughout July 2026. Afternoons are filled with sports, activities, excursions and Europa-Park. Evenings bring the whole camp together. Your child learns a language and lives a summer they will not forget.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Chantemerle language camp
What languages are taught?
The programme offers English and French immersion. Students choose one language for their session. Both are taught by native or near-native level teachers in small groups.
What level is required?
No specific level is required. Students are assessed on arrival and placed in the group that matches their current level, from complete beginners to advanced speakers.
How many hours of class per day?
Classes run every morning, five days a week, for approximately three hours per session. Afternoons and evenings are dedicated to camp activities, where immersion continues naturally.
How large are the groups?
Groups are capped at 12 students. This ensures every participant gets individual attention, regular speaking time and direct feedback from the teacher throughout the week.
Can my child combine language classes with a sport?
Yes. The morning language programme is specifically designed to run alongside afternoon sport sessions — tennis, golf, equitation and others. Language in the morning, sport in the afternoon.
Is there a certificate at the end?
A participation certificate is available on request at the end of the session. It confirms the language studied, the level of the group and the duration of the programme.
What nationalities are in the camp?
Chantemerle welcomes students from over 30 countries every summer. The diversity is genuine and consistent — your child will have no choice but to communicate in the target language.
When does the language camp run?
The language programme runs every week throughout July 2026. Sessions can be booked for one week or more, and are easily combined with the general summer programme or a sport academy.
